The new S/4 HANA service has been expanded to include the “Advanced Execution” process, including the integration of the billable maintenance order (PM order). This solution supports the planning and execution of extensive services, such as complex in-house repairs to machines and systems. The transformation of the classic variant configuration (LO-VC) to the “Advanced Variant Configuration” (AVC) optimizes planning and execution.
Efficient returns and repair processes
The new in-house repair process (2.0) integrates the extended returns processing efficiently and conveniently. This simplifies returns and repair processes and covers many standard requirements. This includes the handling of customer returns, in-house repairs and external repairs, as well as the entire logistics process.
Integration of S/4 Service and Advanced Returns Management
Since release 2022, the integration of S/4 Service and “Advanced Returns Management” has efficiently supported the flow of goods and reduced the booking effort. Further functions will be available with the 2023 release:
